Author visit: Elise Seyfried
Tuesday, 3/27, 7-8 pm
In Community Rooms ABC

Author and Upper Dublin resident Elise Seyfried returns to the library March 27th to share stories from her new book "Underway: Reflections on Everyday Grace". Underway is another collection of essays that find the spiritual (and the humor) in the unlikeliest everyday events, from parking tickets and scared pet rabbits, to making a "bucket list" and raising teenagers (piercings, tattoos and all). Underway is a term describing when a submarine goes out to sea (Elise's son Evan is a Naval officer).  Elise reminds us that we are, all of us, "underway" one way or another, setting forth to new adventures and discoveries, and she challenges us to find the special meaning in our "everydays."
